Hey all. No one sees that much of me these days. 2013 was a fucktastrophe, so I haven't been doing too much.

This winter has been particularly gruelling for everyone, and I am pretty tired of it. I'm hoping that this summer brings me photo opportunities, and the motivation to take photos, (unlike last summer). Either way, I'd like to be outside more this summer to make up for this awful winter.

deviantART has turned into a chore for me, mostly because of my group. I haven't looked at any art in a long time, and I only come on to accept/decline submissions. Not gonna do that shit anymore, so I'm closing the doors on my group permanently, and just gonna focus on looking at cool photos and appreciating photography again, instead of trying to critique everything.

Hopefully I can take better photos for it.

Anyway, if anyone still watches me, (which is unlikely given the fact that I only submit photos 3 months out of the year), then I hope to shower you all with new and excellent photos this coming summer.

While I haven't really taken a lot of nature photos lately, I still love deviantART and would never close my account. However, I also started my nude photography account a while back, and I think it's time to call that one quits. I just didn't really get the kind of response I was hoping for. While I was hoping to find that most people saw a definite increase in quality over other male-oriented photography on this site, all I really got were comments from mostly gay men, and some pretty weird notes once in a while. A few females here and there would appreciate my work, and I am grateful for that.

Perhaps it's my fault for not filtering my images better. Either way, that side of photography is not something I am openly pursuing anymore. I haven't taken a nude self portrait in months. Still, there are some images that I am extremely happy with, even now. So I have decided to post a few of the best images from that account onto this one.

The images I do post here will be the highest quality ones, which also means that they don't feature as much nudity as some others. I'm sure that my followers can handle that. I do hope that you take the time to comment on these submissions and tell me your thoughts. I would really appreciate some support there as well. Perhaps in the winter, when I can't really go outside as well, I'll try to make some more photos that are of a high quality.

I do hope to get outside soon though and take some more shots. Perhaps this week. No promises, but we'll see.

I've been so busy with other things this summer that I simply haven't gone out a lot to take photos. I lost a lot of my photography spark, so I haven't even really tried. August has usually been my photography month, and I didn't even pick it up for its entirety. Still, I may go out once to get some shots and see what I can find. I guess that when I post photos for 3 or 4 months and then back away for so long, I don't get the kind of response I like when I come back the following summer. A few favourites here and there, and no comments. Not really worth it.

I've been hanging out with friends, doing a lot of gaming, (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn), and I've actually started writing a book. I'm writing a fantasy novel that will eventually turn into a trilogy. It's an idea that I've had for a while, so that's taken up a lot of time too.

Anyway, maybe you'll see a few more photos from me this year, but don't get terribly excited. I'm even pulling away from my group a bit; only doing the absolute basics like accepting/declining artwork, and have put all art features on hold.
