5 Ways To Make Black and White

Just a small tutorial on how to make your images the best Black and White possible, if they were not original shot as Black and White. A little something I picked up in College in Digital Graphics. Feel free to distribute this tutorial. Do not publish or copy under any means, unless agreed to by me.

Please note that the last two images in this tutorial didn't actually turn out that yellow. My Photoshop's white is just yellow instead. It's annoying, but something I've had to live with. They really would be Black and White for anyone else.

This tutorial can be applied to any image. It doesn't have to be a photo.

IMPORTANT: For the last two steps, you cannot save your file as anything except a Photoshop or RAW image. To save as other file formats, go to Mode - Grayscale after those last two steps. Because there is no color data present, going to Grayscale won't change anything. This will allow you to save in jpg or whatever else.
